AVID Secondary Schools
AVID is a national program that is in its 5th year in the Saint Paul Public School District. Its mission is to assist students who are in the “academic middle” to prepare them for admission to 4 year colleges and universities. This mission is accomplished by encourgaing students to enroll in a “rigorous” course, (e.g. Pre-AP,  AP, or IB), as well as an AVID Elective course.
