What grade does AVID begin? Students can participate in AVID in grades 4–12 in SPPS during the 2009 - 2010 school year. How do I apply for AVID? Download and complete an AVID application, and ask your current teacher to fill out a recommendation form. All students who apply for AVID must participate in an interview with AVID staff members before they will be considered for admission (Application form is attached at the bottom of the page!) How will I know if I’m accepted into AVID? Students will receive a letter from an AVID staff member with in a month of your interview. Where is AVID offered?
