This is a brand new initiative. One that we are very excited about. Four Saint Paul Elementary Schools have been accepted into the Science into Literacy (CORI) Program for the 2008-2009 academic year. Each school has a team comprised of a literacy coach, science resource specialist, and 3-4 classroom teachers. Participating teams receive resource support to purchase release time and/or stipends for time outside of the working day. A time commitment of approximately 30 hours distributed throughout the year is expected.
