Laptop Carts

The Center for Professional Development has eight carts of MacBook computers available for checkout to classroom teachers in grades K-6 to help facilitate technology-infused learning.

The carts include the following:
CanoScan LiDE 60 Scanner
15 or 16 MacBook (white version) laptops
OS 10.4 operating system
AppleWorks 6.2.9
Inspiration
iLife '06
    GarageBand
    iMovie '06
    iPhoto
    iDVD
iWorks '06
    Keynote
    Pages
Other standard applications
Everyday Math Games, Audacity, and Scratch can be added.

Each cart will be checked out to one teacher for the remainder of the 2008-09 school year and will be picked up in June 2009. The cart is to be used in that classroom throughout the day as appropriate for technology integration activities. Carts cannot be loaned to other teachers.
