  • Bakken Library and Museum - has worked with SPPS to develop instructional units to fill curricular gaps on Static Electricity in 4th and 6th grade.
  • Big River Journey is an integration of river and classroom experiences connecting 4th-6th grade students with the science and heritage of the Mississippi River culminating with a riverboat excursion on the Mississippi River. BRJ resources are referenced in the Elem Sci Framework.
  • Como Planetarium is a program of Saint Paul Publics Schools housed at Como Elementary School. The Planetarium offers curriculum to be done at your school (housed at the District Materials Center) and field trips to the Planetarium. these resources are embedded throughout the Elementary Science Framework.
  • District Materials Center - houses materials available for loan. Any materials  identified in the Elementary Science Framework that your school is not expected to house can be found at the DMC.
  • Multicultural Resource Center housed at Arlington HS host a rich array of materials and resources for loan supporting  science education.
  • Science Museum of Minnesota
  • Science House, located at the Science Museum, Members can check out classroom sets of hands-on materials, engage in formal and informal consultation and professional development, and discuss education issues with friends and colleagues in a comfortable and creative environment.
  • Valley Branch Environmental Learning Center - is a program of Saint Paul Public Schools and is embedded in the Elementary Science Framework in 3rd and 5th grade.
  • MnSTEP is a program through Hamline University's CGEE offering professional development for MN teachers of science.
