The One Kernel -- Thanksgiving The wind and snow whirls outside the windows of the comfy, cozy kitchen. The excitement of making thanksgiving dinner is nearly over. The air is thick with the smells of Grandpa’s roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and Grandma’s home made best-in-the-world bread. In the comfy, cozy, warm kitchen the sounds of thanksgiving fill the air. We don’t have a burner to spare on the stove cluttered with pots and pans full of simmering gravy, vegetables, and warm cider.
